Back in 2009, I wrote a spec script for a short TV drama. It never got picked up, but the story stayed with me.

Over that time, I toyed with making the project myself, but I always found a reason to step away from it. There's an intensity to the film that I was never too sure I could bring to screen, and maybe, five years ago, I couldn't.

But over the past few weeks, I retooled the screenplay - paring it down to about half as long - and collected the perfect cast together.

We shot it fast over the close of last week, and I've just put the completed the 13min cut.

It was shot very barebones with natural light and all handheld, it's the simple yet gut-wrenching tale of a man struggling to deal with love and anger.

At the moment, I don't know what the plan is for release - there are all these other films waiting to go - but I'll make a call on it soon.

In the meanwhile though, check out the short teaser.
